An owner’s attention to an organization’s finances does not signify greed. It signifies wisdom. Wise owner’s know that robust finances allow the organization to accomplish it’s mission, weather it’s crises, and grow. Most therapists are not financially oriented or driven by money. Yet we do need to be attentive enough to guide the organization forward and avoid the dangers of financial crises.
